To ensure you have genuine gel-based tips, take one and assess its texture. It should feel medium—not too soft or too hard. Fold it horizontally and vertically; when you unfold it, the tip should return to its original shape without any creasing or white lines. If it doesn’t meet these criteria, it may not be a pure gel-based tip. Always verify this quality before use.
